Description

EFHW 10-20-40 m antenna

End Fed winder for 240 size toroids, suitable for EFHW antennas.

  • SO239 connectors

the spool can easily accomodate more than 20 meters of AWG20 wire, to build a full size 10-15-20-40m EFHW antenna
easy to build (pictures are self-explaining).
My builds are made according to standard EFHW projects with FT240-43 toroid and 100pF high voltage capacitor, I use them up to 100w SSB without issues.

My favorite solution is with “split” 10+10m of wire (with quick connectors), so I can use a short 10m antenna for 10-15-20m and deploy 20m of wire to cover 40m band only when needed.

Printed this today and moved my old EFHW from a project box into this, which is much more convenient with the winder. One note, I had a failed print on the lid in its current orientation in the file. I needed up flipping it upside down and it printed fine.

What is the 1,5 mm2 wire x 1 used for? Not sure if this is magnet wire or the wire for the feed? I am assuming the long wire? I am planning to use 20 gauge silicon stranded wire for that. Just confused what 1,5 mm2 wire is referring to,

"1,5mm2"  is cross-sectional area of 10+10m electrical wire used for antenna. 1,5mm2 is equivalent to 16AWG but you can use 20AWG too (0,5 mm2) if you plan to use less power (25W max). thanks for your Boost, i wait your photo!!
