Description

Jesse_M's C3PO Shorts (version 2) sized 95% and split to fit on Bambu Labs A1 & X1 build plates

THIS COLLECTION OF PARTS IS A WORK IN PROGRESS.

Some of the smaller greebles may be missing, but will be added soon.  When in doubt, go to the original source on Thingaverse.

These files have been adjusted to fit the Bambu Labs A1 build plate by scaling them down to 95% of their original size and slicing them where necessary. Assembly of the parts should be simple and straightforward.

C-3PO, the galaxy's most beloved golden worrywart, is a protocol droid fluent in over six million forms of communication—and somehow still manages to be misunderstood by everyone around him. Built by Anakin Skywalker (and now you), C-3PO spends his days flailing through intergalactic crises with his eternal companion, R2-D2. Whether he’s declaring, “We’re doomed!” or reluctantly translating Huttese for Jabba’s slimy court, C-3PO’s knack for panicking at just the right moment somehow keeps him in the thick of the action. He’s basically a walking anxiety attack with a heart of gold…or at least a shiny exterior.

Note: I did not create this design. For more information, please check Jesse_M's original uploads on Thingiverse. The ‘C-3PO BUILDERS' Facebook group also has a large community of C-3PO information.

Hi again 😊 I’m trying to print the shorts in an X1 Carbon via the app, but the printer profile says it’s only for an A1 and not compatible with the X1C all other parts have printed OK so far, so are you able to update the profile to work with the X1C ? many thanks

Great Catch! That was so weird.. I tried to modify that print profile for other printers but it wouldn't take the changes. I ended up just uploading a new profile (with zero changes) and this time the X1C is showing up. Check out the new print profile and let me know if it solves your problem... if so i'll just remove the original profile :)
