Description

Inspired by the very popular iPhone Standby Mode Dock (designed with OVERWERK) design; I wanted to share my own nostalgic twist on the idea! I grew up using the ‘OG’ General Electric alarm clock/radio (7-4612) and used it for years. I made this to bring back that old school design mixed with modern tech!

***This was custom designed for the iPhone 16 Pro paired with the CANSHN Magnetic Compatible iPhone 16 Pro Case***

I included the Fusion 360 file for those who wish to modify the design for their personal phone setup. Please test and share for others to enjoy!

Assembly

Glue all parts to main body.

The button with the small circle on top goes on the far left (sleep button)

Feed the cable through the body and insert the MagSafe charger.

It is a very snug fit!

Store your MagSafe PopSocket on the side while your phone charges!

It will slightly stick out on the side to mimic the dial on the OG alarm :)

Amazing!!! that’s just fantastic work! I wish I knew how to remix and edit these. I have an iPhone 15 Pro with a case. Dimensions are 11.60mm x 150.51 x 74.51 Would anyone be able to help with that? also, there’s a slight area where the camera lens section pops out around the lens section. it’s about 3.20mm away from the edges - the square area with rounded corners is 45mm x 45mm - not sure if that info is needed? is anyone able to help out with that? I’d be SUPER appreciative l! 🫶🥹

Hey, if you're still looking for some help with a remix, let me know and I can ask about some more dimensions, and do some mods and have you test print. If not, look into how to turn an STL into a solid body online, and use FUSION360. Also, I have a print that might work, that is a remix of a different standby clock, that but my phone does not have whatever that circular object in the middle of your case is, so your mileage may vary. I'd recommend taking and loading the stl into your slicer, use the cut function to cut just he front and see if your phone fit inside, with the charger also inserted into the back.
