Description

Prepare for lift-off with the new Compact Space Rocket! Perfect for fidget fans and wannabe astronauts. The fidget toy that lets your hands explore the galaxy without leaving your desk. Warning: May cause spontaneous countdowns. 3… 2… 1… FIDGET! 🚀

The ‘fuel’ you can see on the sides, is converted to the blaster and becomes the flame ones the rocket has taken of! And once it lands again, the fuel is filled up, ready for another go. Always more fuel: impossible - except here 😉

Original taller version: https://makerworld.com/en/models/526796#profileId-447325

Overview

It comes in one version for now - where the flame stays in the rocket and doesn’t fall out.

A boost is very much appreciated!! 🎉  Thanks!

Assembly

Assembly is easy - just insert the flame into the rocket!

Important: When inserting the flame for the first time, it is supposed to be a little tough! It's to make the flame stay in, when fidgeting. Insert from the bottom, with the pointy part of the flame facing down.

Print instructions

  • Brim: Yes. It both Rocket and Flame has very little contact with the bed, so please use Brim!
  • Supports: Rocket: No. Flame: Yes (I used 'Normal Auto', ‘Style Default’, ‘60 degrees threshold’)
  • Orientation: The models are oriented in the correct print position

Happy printing!

I have the same issue on my AI with Bambu Matt PLA, which happened 3 out of three times and also on the larger rocket. Any suggestions? I tried thicker layers and increasing z-hop.

Seven were printed individually, and in two prints, a weak point appeared after about 5mm, causing the parts to fall off Perhaps reinforce the model there

Love these, printed at least 30 of them in different "House" color for a local charter school to hand out during student appreciation week. the quality is amazing and this is printed using wet cheap filament. I even disabled the supports and brim and they still printed well. Phenomenal job!

Brilliant! Printed on an A1 Mini - a few little snags but overall great. They work smoothly after the flame has been passed through a few times, and after a while you can even get the flame to pop out of the top of the rocket by pinching it at the base. My little boy loves them!
