Remixed from a wonderful 1:200 scale model on Thingiverse. Separate parts were joined, shrunk to 1:400, simplified, then resplit for easier printing with less seams.
Model uses dowels to connect the parts. Glue is necessary as I set tolerances a little high - a previous model I built was too tight (and so I think I went too far), but nothing glue couldn't fix. With tight enough tolerances, you may not need glue. Two sets of dowels: smaller (x3) connect the two halves of the main fuselage, larger (x2 each, x4 total) connect the front and tail sections to the main fuselage.
I encountered errors (non-manifold edges) on the original stl which I think I managed to somehow make disappear. If you encounter them, it should still print successfully as I was able to.
(Son loves airplanes and is making me make everything in 1:400 scale - pictured model is his coloring with acrylic markers.)
If you liked this print, please check out my other 1:400 prints. Feedback, thumbs up, and/or boosts would be very appreciated! Thank you!
