My first 4 colour print. I used the fuzzy hat Print Profile. Love it but I ended up with the same banding in the body that shows in the sample images for this file. Where do I change the “Flush into Object’s Infill” setting so I can get some without the banding?

let me tweak the settings and see if I can get a cleaner print. I'll shoot you a reply once I get it working

I isolated the problem (the flushing volume from white filament to black was WAYYY too low, and I don't remember changing it) and ran another test print to verify the fix worked. See the attached image, where the banding is now gone. (I disabled the red color to save print time and filament, as it wasn't contributing to the issue). I reenabled "Flush into objects' infill" to offset some of the increased waste from more flushing; the print now requires 10g more but still 40g less than the designer's profile. Give the new profile a try!

I'm making a bunch of these for my wife's students and they are going to love them. With 277 filament changes, be prepared for a large poop pile. The one test print came out flawless. I added a keychain hole and the year so the kids can have it on their Christmas tree. Now to print off a batch of 23 on my P1S and replace the blue with red. Good job with the print and thank you for the outstanding print.

Wonderful snowman, but never again! The snowman looks very cute and delights my family, but I will never print this again. 13:57 hours of printing time and a total consumption of 212.64 g. The model itself only needs 13.50 g. A total waste of filament

Print 10 at a time and it won't be that much longer and use maybe 300g total. The color changes is what takes a long time and flushes a lot of filament.

aat the beginning I thought the poop comment was not real, but it is ...maybe bamboo should include poop level indicators for each print 😝💩. Overall very nice print. I used the fuzzy hats and indeed the bands are gone. everybody is smiling and happy 😁

I use iso to clean the bed plate after/before every print without fail. The issue was the infill type and lack of support on the back of the hat. I'm trying a reprint with gyroid and adding support now

Superbly crafted model! Printed with PETG-HF. However, I recommend printing as many at once as possible (e.g., eight pieces) to make the rather high “poop factor” worthwhile! Because the “poop factor” is just as high for one model as it is for eight. Thank you for this wonderful, friendly, and adorable model!
