Description

*BOOSTS ARE ALWAYS APPRECIATED, BUT NEVER EXPECTED.  THANK YOU ALL FOR THE SUPPORT OF THIS SMALL FISH LOL !!!!*

DO NOT USE ANY OTHER FILAMENT EXCEPT PETG FOR THIS PRINT. IF YOU HAVE STRENGTH ISSUES, SLOW DOWN AND/OR HEAT THINGS UP A BIT! PLEASE IGNORE ALL OTHER PRINT PROFILES THAT DONT USE PETG!

This clip is designed for Bambu spools only and IS AMS COMPATIBLE IF YOU PUT IT ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE SPOOL (as looking at it when its loaded in the AMS unit).

This is a very small filament clip that uses hardly any filament. I used Bambu Labs PETG-HF filament. A small brim is cheap insurance and I've found that when removing them from the build plate you have to push on the larger diameter and not the smaller side. I used a smooth plate with glue. Good luck and Enjoy!

This is my first upload on MW so if I did something wrong please let me know.

Although a great idea they break very easy.

are you using PETG? PLA is too brittle and should be avoided.

bummer. only thing you might try is slowing things down a bit and maybe bumping the heat up a bit. sorry it’s not working for you.

I like the idea here but I keep having the issue of the posts that go into the hole, breaking. This in turn leads to the clip falling out of the hole. I tried printing in pla and petg-hf. I believe what I’m running into is layer adhesion issues but I could be wrong. I’m a very novice printer. Any suggestions to fix that? EDIT: More heat on the print profile worked great with PETG! Thanks!

try more heat. looks like your layers aren’t bonding together.

printed about 200 Tiny Filament clips in two colors of PETG. They printed well. looking forward to trying them on my Bambu Lab spools!

Then why did you give them 4 starts instead of 5??

the design is not perfect. it’s not as easy to place the filament on the hole and the filament tends to stick out !

simple design make sure to put it on the right side only or it will jam in AMS

Yeah you have to put them on the right side of the spool. If they are on the left side they will not work in the AMS. I explain this in the description you read before printing.

This spool has the clip on the wrong side

Printed my own tiny clip army and the print went without any issues, but the holes on most are a bit too tiny to fit the filament in my case. Used calibrated and dried Bambu PETG-HF to print. Perhaps the larger amount at once made the holes sag a bit more because of the longer time between the layers?

Just push the filament through. YOU CAN DO IT!!!!! 😂

Exactly what I needed. Maybe the best filament clip on makerworld. Small and simple design. I used black PETG HF.

Works great - word of warning, it's best to mount on the RIGHT side when looking at the spool as it sits in the AMS.

Yes. It’s stated in the description but maybe I have to reiterate that a few more times 😂
