Description

Are you looking to restore your Hercules guitar stand? Here's a detailed description of a modified replacement grip and button for Hercules guitar stands.

This model did not fit the tube exactly and was just lose a bit for no use.

Conditions:

  • Original Issues: The rubber grip became porous and degraded over time, and the button fell off.
  • Stand Integrity: The stand itself remains fully functional and in excellent working condition.

Modifications & Details:

Fitment: The part is tailored for Hercules guitar stands but may require slight adjustments, as exact-fit models were unavailable.
Reused Components: An original small holder piece of the original button has been repurposed.

Required Screws and Nuts (not included):

  • One screw for the inner button component (used with the repurposed rubber piece).
  • One screw and nut for attaching the grip. I used an additional nut as a locking nut for extra security.

Missing Spring Replacement:

The original spring was lost and has been replaced with a compatible alternative.

Additional Parts Needed (for assembly):

  • Screw for Button: Minimum length of 23mm, diameter Ø3mm.
  • M3 Nuts: At least one, preferably two (for locking purposes).
  • Inner Screw for Button: Length 12.5mm, head diameter 5.5mm, diameter Ø3mm.
  • Optional Spring: Diameter Ø11mm, compressed height 13mm.

This is an excellent option for DIY enthusiasts looking to restore their guitar stands with a touch of creativity and a few tools!
