Description

Gogeta SSJ4 high detail statue

Mesh is pretty dense so you can scale it how much you want.

The tail is printed separately to avoid supports failure.

All print settings are in the .3mf file

IMPORTANT: This is a challenging print for an FDM printer, so your filament settings must be perfect. Here's the most important settings to check before printing:

Thank you :-) I've modeled it on Blender every morning for about a week, but also finding the right settings to print it on an FDM printer was a challenge ^_^

Yeah sure! The print profile is ready to print! Just be sure to calibrate your filament settings very well :-)

The print would have been excellent, but I encountered a couple of issues: 1) The model's feet shifted to the right; I'm unsure of the cause. I applied the recommended settings, so there might be something to revise there. 2) The tail detached during printing, likely due to insufficient support. I'll have to reprint it separately. Overall, the detail is good, but these flaws somewhat compromised the final result (Printed with A1) I would be truly grateful if someone could help me resolve this problem

Hello, I'm sorry you encountered problems during printing :-\ The issue with the feet is certainly printer-related: it happens when the X-axis skips gear teeth, effectively moving less than it should, and thus continuing the print in the wrong place. I would try an automatic calibration to see if your A1 detects perhaps too low tension in the pulleys or some other problem. Regarding the tail, yes, it was also difficult for me to find the right settings to successfully print it, after a couple of failures: try slowing down the print speed to 60mm/s, adding a 0.8mm Z-hop to the settings of the filament you are using, or even adding more supports. I hope you can successfully complete the print: let me know! :-)

Support Issue:The supports were weird ; a bunch broke, shoulders and neck caved in, tail completely exploded.

Yep definitely weird supports: should not print like this. I'll update the project description with detailed print settings to verify that the print profile you use is the right one (I've made MANY print tests just to avoid this).

Thank you for your feedback. Yes, the tail was a bit tricky for me too. I think i got the perfect settings in the end, but if you've noticed some particular setting that I've missed to print the tail, let me know :-)
