That will eventually just scrape off the back of the screen, won’t it? Does the projected image extend above the bump-out and go out of focus? This is a workaround, but I think the real solution is a bracket that moves the screen out further and avoids the interference all together. https://www.legrandav.com/products/accessories/screen-accessories/mounting-and-extension-brackets

Yeehh... That would be a better solution in the long term... but my school´s janitor just doesn´t care enough to fix it. It was there without this a year and a half... Even if we told him. It was just annoying to have to stand on the chair and unblock it every time...
