Description

Bamboots - the stylish anti-vibration foot! I'd love to see what colours you come up with so please post a picture!

Compatible with the A1 mini. All of my test parts have printed perfectly in PLA.

These offer a significant reduction in vibration noises passed into the table/desk! There is also the added benefit of much improved airflow under the base of the printer.

I would not recommend installing the Bamboots without the rubber feet installed due to the reduced friction.

Assembly details.

Insert the rubber feet into the bottom of the Bamboots. The rubber feet will stick out ~2mm from the base of the Bamboot.
I have found the next few steps easier whilst propping the printer up on a few books.
Remove the small rubber pads on the four corners of the printer. You will see a small moulded racetrack, this is where the Bamboots will interface with the printer.
The Bamboots are labelled on the sole to show their position
1. BL - Back Left
2. BR - Back Right
3. FL - Front Left
FR - Front Right (the position closest to the touch screen)
The groove in the top of the Bamboot will align with the racetrack on the printer. During my testing the left-over adhesive from the original rubber pads was enough to hold the Bamboots in place. If it doesn't stick, some double sided tape will be needed.
Once back on the table, as the printer will have a new vibration profile, please re-run the printer calibration from the Settings → Maintenance → Calibration menus.

Best upgrade for the A1 mini by far, great and playful aestethics, solid mounting and reduces the noice so much + the printer doesn't move anymore. amazing job!

edit: received the rubber pieces from AliExpress and they fit perfectly :) I've just gone with an all black aesthetic! Worked brilliantly with my eSun PLA+ Black filament, I just need to rubber things to come in before I install it!

Great model with good instructions. Supports came away easily. Worked well with the AMS. Feet came out great, although I did speed up the machine to Sport as I was not so concerned on the finish.

They certainly reduce the vibration transfer vs the standard rubber stickers! if you already have the shocks installed the difference will only be aesthetic!

Does not work for the new A1 model, the feet are no longer made of silicone, they are now made of foam that is very hard to detach and besides that, the dimensions have changed, the feet are now larger, making the feet too small for the A1.
