For the last 6 months or so I've been on the hunt the perfect terrain for Dungeons and Dragons. I have tested a good bit of the tiles that are out there. Most take a long time to print, have complicated connections, or are overwhelming with the amount of tiles they offer. The other trouble I've been having is to make the tiles look great you need to add paint. I don't have the time to print and also paint everything. So I started digging into my options. While consuming a good bit of terrain youtube videos I found these 2 videos that helped me formulate this idea. 1. In this Grey Scalp Miniature video, he discusses how he did these hueforge dungeon tiles. It blew my mind. To me this has been the most useful thing I've seen hueforge used for. (see bottom of this post for video link) 2. I started looking into crafting dungeon tiles. That led me to Black Magic Craft. His basic 3x3 dungeon tiles seemed very minimal and after watching a couple of videos I was sold on no wall dungeon tiles. So that led me to this listing.
Each tile is a 3inx3in so each tile on the tile is 1inx1in. So that should line up with most battlemats that are 1inx1in grid system.
I used all Bambu Lab Matte filament colors.
Flagstone: Grey, white, and black on the
Cobblestone: Grey, Black, White, Tan
Stone: Grey, Black, White
Wood: Black and Tan
I wanted to create a very simple but good looking multicolor dungeon tile. Each tile is under 1 hour to print. Just print what you want for your needs. The profile includes both 3 color and 2 color tiles. Play around with the colors, white for snow/ice, blue for water, make it green and brown and you have some outdoor tiles. This world is your oyster.
I'm working on some other things that match this sort of thing. Let me know what you think, I would love to hear your thoughts.
