While I am not particularly fond of the Grinch, I felt compelled to give it a try as a gift for a dear friend. Printed at its maximum size on a Bambulab A1 using PETG filament from Kingroon with the Generic PETG settings. The print took 15 hours and consumed a total of 450 grams of filament.

That is a killer print. Just don't love him that much to burn that much filament. You could try "Lightning" infill. It's supposed to be fast and less material where your prints don't need to be structurally strong. Gyroid is tough, but good filament isn't cheap. At least that's what my wife tells me.

whats the trick in coloring the eyes?

I used an AMS and did the eyes and nose with the fill/paintbrush and then painted the pupils white with the circle tool all in Bambu Studio. In hindsight I should have reversed the black and white in the eyes.
