Description

Just got the new M4 Mac Mini and decided it would be nicer mounted to the underside of the shelf on my desk. Modelled this mount up that allows enough space for the cables at the back, some ventilation on the sides (not that it really needs it), an open bottom so not to cover the air vents and allows for easy access to that pesky power button on the bottom.

The Mac slides very snug into the mount so it will not shift around.

Mayby you think to add some shelf by left side for external nvme enclosure?

That’s a good idea. I’m working on another version with a slot for a usb hub which should work for that too. I’ll let you know

so maybe a weird ask, but I also own a hub made by "hyperdrive" that happens to be nearly the exact same foot print as the Mac mini. 4.9x4.9 but has a shorter height. would you be willing to make a version that has a second compartment above the mini to accommodate this hub? Im still too inexperienced to modeling to figure it out myself. if its too specific and niche I totally understand, xD. thanks either way

originally I rated it for 3 stars. upped the size to 100.3% and it fits very well. I wager you could go smaller like 100.25 and get a much more snug fit but I am happy with the model. one thing others mentioned is a tray/caddy for an external SSD like the Sandisk Extreme, Crucial X10 or Samsung T7/T9. I have the rugged series T7 but it would be sick to have a tray so the drive isn’t dangling.

I did 100.3% and it worked out very well. I'd wager that 100.25 would work.

I, like the others, would LOVE if there was a way to add a small external SSD enclosure to either side of the holder. That would be fantastic. I have a Sandisk Extreme 2tb and a Samsung T7 rugged 4tb drive I will be using exclusively with this machine.
