Description

This is a board game where you can create your own mazes. I first made it for my son, and he loved playing with it! Since he enjoyed it so much, I decided to share it with others. You can design different paths and challenges each time, making every game new and exciting.

The parts are designed to fit tightly, so they won’t fall off if the board is turned over.

I’m open to making changes too, so let me know in the comments if you’d change something, and I’ll do my best to make it happen!

If I had to pick an issue it would only be that the pieces are quite small for little hands. Next time I will try taking advantage of my larger X1C plate and upscale it. As far as the design goes though it works great. I love that my kids can make mazes for each other to solve (a skill in itself) rather than solving it once and tossing it aside. I would like to request a lid to keep all the pieces safe! (in have assembled it so the star and finish holes and pairs of 2 blocks are permanent.

I am glad your kids liked it! 🙂 I think the base needs to be redesigned to make a lid. I hope I can find the time to make it, but I can’t promise anything. =) Did you try using a stainless steel ball? My son also enjoyed playing with it, like a marble maze.

No just the peg but I like that because it's self correcting. I plan to print your marble maze next. 😊

Awesome print! Copied the maze design for the first run and needed to print out more walls, needed 90.

Do you know how well it would scale? I want to try making larger pieces for small hands.

I think the parts might become loose, making it difficult for them to hold together as well as they did at the original size. It could be a good idea to cut the model and print a small section first to test it, saving filament in case it doesn't work out.
