Description

Merry Christmas!
Elf on the shelf, snowboard, bindings, and goggles.
They print pretty easily, though the bottom curved part of the board does need sanding and supports.
I used elastic (from a used medical mask) on the bindings and mask.

I moved the items around and printed the support and waist grabber in red on a separate plate to the items in white. this makes the support disappear/blend in with the red of the elf

looks awesome. did you have any sizing issues with the file?

Is there something off with the scale? If I open this in X1C Bambu, the snowboard is as long as the entire build plate.

Just printed this. Sizing is WAAAAAY off, it's about 3x the size of what's in the pic.

shouldn’t be. I’ll have a look at the file again and make sure I didn’t miss something when I uploaded it. The only thing I can see that May have caused a sizing issue would be Metric and Imperial. You acn change this by right clicking the item in the slicer and converting to Inches. Hope you come right

That might be it, I'm using mm. When I try to convert though, it just blows it up huge. I'll look at it more another time.

Pieces are hard to put together but they fit. Where are the goggles and bindings? I'm a tad disappointed they aren't here and I can't use the file properly

Hi there, pity you feel this way. They are a tight fit on purpose. Some including myself use it for kids dolls as well. The goggles and shoes are on plates 2 and 3. Select the other plates either on the handy app or on the slicer and you will see them. The Bambu wiki will have all the instructions on how to select the plates.

did you manage to find the option for the additional plates?

It must have been a glitch on my end because they weren't there when I printed the board, sorry about that!

Good idea, but the pieces don't fit together well

thanks for the review. it is a really tight fit but with a little persuasion it goes together and stays together. my daughter uses them for her dolls too. give it a little tough love and I’m sure they will go together no problem 👍
