About the model:

Minimalist and modern chess pieces with suitable size for standard boards.

I don't plan to make a chess board for these, but if there is significan interest, I will consider it.

Print info:

Easy print. No support needed. Made for printing with 0.2mm layer height!

If you want to make a smaller version, downscale the layer hight with the same proportion!

Would you consider releasing the cad files for these pieces ? I really like the design, but the problem with 3d printed chess sets is the weight (to lite) Now I have an idea of using old AAA and AA batteries as internal weights that can be hot glued in from underneath ? I would of course send the modified files back to you if you wish to list them, I wouldn't list them myself. (check out my work under MorAriti .)

Hi, I design my stuff in Blender, which is not really a CAD software. Roughly, the only difference between the source model and the shared stl file is that the source has quads instead of triangular faces. I can provide the obj file for you if that helps you. Do you want it?

That would be great as I use Fusion 360 and can work with .obj files , it's a lot easier than trying to convert .stl files in the basic version of Fusion 360!

I added them to the downloadable raw model files. I hope you can use it.

Wow, looks amazing, like 3D rendered. How did you achieve such a clean look? And what filament did you use?

LOVE these chess pieces. And as I have no chessboard, I designed one to fit the pieces. Also both board and pieces have magnets inserted mid-print. Thus I have sold the weight of pieces.

Really like them, cool design, print well - would love them to be a bit more weighty, so they play slightly better and don’t move around so easy, otherwise a really good design.

Traveling in 10 hours and needed a nice set to take with me. Printed them at 65% scale and they came out beautiful.
