The maximum supported desk thickness for this model is 22mm
The layer count must be at least 4 layers to ensure strength
If you want to store the MagSafe cable at the back, you’ll need to adjust the screw length based on your desk’s thickness. Here’s how to calculate it:
1. First, measure your desk thickness. An approximate measurement is fine, but more precision is better.
2. Calculate the required screw length with this formula: 14 + (22 - desk thickness) . For example, if your desk thickness is 20mm, the required screw length would be 14 + 22 - 20 = 16mm.
3. Since the nut thickness is 8mm, you’ll need to set the length in BambuLab Studio to 8 + calculated length . For example, in this case, you’d set it to 16 + 8 = 24mm.
4. The default screw length is 30mm. You can cut it using BambuLab Studio’s trimming tool or use one of the sizes I’ve provided. A slightly longer screw will also work.
