Description

This tripod is tall with 6 inch (15cm) legs. Its angle and height is adjustable. Ideal for video and photo shooting.

Please see my other link on various other phone holder solutions, working with the same universal “octagon socket” phone holder design.

Hello Just finished the print, and it is a elegant design. Good work to you! I also had "issues" with tight screws but after a few ins and outs the threads adjusted. the knob that slides onto the tripod was a bit tight, but i scaled it down 0.5 mm and it was a perfect fit. The spring that holds the phone is a bit flimsy, but i guess its partially down to filament quality (or maybe the thickness of the spring?). I used PETG. Perhaps considering incorporating a design based on something like this would neglect the issue altogether ( https://makerworld.com/en/models/506233#profileId-421946 ) just something worth exploring. All in all a superb addition on this site, and i look forward to using it in my shop :) Thanks a lot!

A quick update. I gave away the first one and decided to print another. This time i scaled all the the screws to 99.85% (X, Y & Z axis) for original, and the round part you attach to the phone holder and slide into the tripod to 98.75% X & Y axis and Z to 198.04% of original. I just put the number in X axis and had uniform scale checked. The parts are now supersnug and at least for me as i want them to be, not needing to force them in the first time. Printed this time in Bambu ABS, dont know if material type has a affect here.

I thoroughly enjoyed it overall. It's evident the designer put a great deal of thought into it, and everything functions flawlessly. I wasn't as pleased with the stability however, meaning the tripod doesn't topple. One notices, though, that the tripod shows some wear and tear, and adjusting the legs isn't particularly straightforward. It's not something you do casually.

printed and connected well after some adjusting, first print had a failed spot on a loop, followed but 2 screws crumbling when assembling. reprinted needed parts at 25% infill and it solved all the problems and works well.

works great and holds my phone recording straight down! only thing is that it's too much effort to loosen / tighten the screws.. i used pliers to screw it in and now it's ugly but i don't need to adjust it much and nobody will see it but me :P i have an a1 mini and used pla+, tweaked your print profile just a little bit

Overall really good. Printed in PLA and holds my iPhone 15 Pro Max without any issues. Tolerances were a little too tight, but I muscled my way though no problem.
