I have tested it with a wide variety of wrist watches, as I'm a watch collector. The heavier of my watches weigh in at more than 300g. I have also tested it with multiple bracelet types (beads of rice, brick type, jubilee etc.), leather (heavily padded straps) and nylon straps.
I designed this mostly because I was tired of having to replace my acrylic watch stands every 3-5 years, because they grow brittle and break. It poses my watches very nicely inside my glass display.
