Description

I needed a tool for removing the aerator on my faucets because the water has a lot of hard minerals that build up in them. The PETG was durable enough for many cycles of removal and reinstall. PLA should work great too though.

I've modeled up 18.5mm and 24mm sizes, each on their own plates, so the print time is actually only around 30 minutes for 1 size. I hope others find this useful and can save a few bucks!

printed in PLA+ and cut off some teeth to adapt it to my Glacier Bay bathroom sink in a rental. Worked great! PLA not recommend if you need to cut off teeth like I did. My first model broke when printed in PLA

Sadly broke these on the first try using PLA+. not sure if it needs beefier design or my faucet just has that much build up.

It’s probably a little of both haha! 1 thing I would do before I printed these was mix some vinegar and water 1:1 in a sandwich bad and rubber band it to the faucet to remove the hard water. Maybe try that first 🤷‍♂️

Haha might be. Not bad idea. Thank you for both the tool and idea.

Printed in PLA+. Worked like a charm to unscrew the aerator on my bathroom sink. Thanks for sharing!
