Description

UPDATE: I added a print profile for single color / no AMS.

UPDATE II: I added a optimized print profile for AMS (Attention, this is not compatible with the other print profiles due to changed dimensions of the box)

The optimized print profile features:

  • Updated dice design with rounded corners
  • Reduced the print to only 2 print plates
  • Added pig design to the screw

UPDATE III:

@Quilty_Tina created English and German instructions that fit in the box, you can download them as PDF in the documentation section. Thank you @Quilty_Tina for the very nice instructions!

Printing:

Some had issues of the playing field lifting at the corner during printing, to prevent this make sure you have a clean print bed and optionally reduce the AUX fan.

Game:

This is my design for the classic game “pig hole”.

I modified the common design to fit the game better and utilize the capabilities of 3D printing.

This model includes everything you need to play, no extra hardware required:

  • 60 pigs (+4 as replacement)
  • custom dice (1-5 + pig)
  • game board
  • box with printed screw to lock everything

The model is designed for AMS, but I will upload a “no AMS version” soon.

Rules:

Distribute the pigs to the players:

  • 2 players: 20 pigs each
  • 4 players: 15 pigs each
  • 6 players: 10 pigs each

Goal of the game is to get rid of your pigs first.

The players roll the dice in turns.

If a player rolls a 6 (pig symbol) he can throw one of his pigs in the hole in the center of the board.

If a player rolls a number from 1 to 5, he may place a pig on an empty field in the corresponding section of the game board.

If the section is already full with pigs, the player has to take all the pigs from that section and his turn is over.

Round 1: Each player rolls the dice 1x.

Round 2: Each player rolls the dice 2x.

Round 3 and all following: Each player may roll the dice as often as he wants, but at least 1x.

Winner is who gets rid of all pigs first. The game may continue until only one player has pigs left.

Assembly for “NO AMS Version”:

You can add the white tiles to the game board with a drop of glue.

This Pig Hole 3D file is fantastic—prints beautifully and works perfectly! Just a heads-up: remove the print while it’s still warm. I waited too long, and my little pigs slid off the plate like greased-up daredevils, diving straight into the abyss of my P1S printer. Had to take the back cover off to retrieve them like some sort of piggy rescue mission. Great design, but watch those slippery swine or they’ll vanish into the void!

Thanks for the nice words! I printed a few of them, and for me it worked best to wait until the pigs are cold and loose, then swipe them of the print plate with a ruler or something like that directly into the box.

Thanks! I was out of green and thought brown would be a good color, it symbolizes the earth.

Thanks for the review. What filament did you use for the pigs, is it transparent? It looks very nice :)

yes, sadly I didn't have normal pink filament, so I tried the bambu translucent and it came out perfect:)

Can you please help me? Printed whole plate AMS version. there is missing some layers. It does not look like layers shift, because its missing all round in that level. It is on every printed model. In slicer I dont see that.

I didn't have this problem before. Seems like it was an issue during the layer shift. Maybe check if the filament is loaded correctly during the color change?

I tried to print just one without AMS and no issue. I guess its error from my printer or AMS. I am gonna print no AMS version over night and just color the eyes with Pencil. Thanks for answer. :-)

Amazing design admired by engineers and loved during play by kids. We are currently printing the fourth set to give away. I therefore designed a small game instruction (english and german) to add to the game. Unfortuanetly I can not provide .pdf or .f2d files ... so dear @kr_design please contact me or @3DFussel, if you want to add them to the product description.

Great model and great game! Printed with AMS with no issues. I moved parts to different build plates to accommodate different colors, printed really nice! Photos include the "Pig Pens" I created as an add-on; the print profile for those is available in the profile list. Thanks for sharing!

The quality of this game is top notch, I printed the All in One AMS V2. I did have an issue with one of the corners on the playing field lifting during the print (not the file but user issue - dirty build plate) I did use a paint pen on the dice dots. Looking forward to playing with family at Thanksgiving. Thank you for a cute new game to add to our collection.

Thanks for the feedback and detailed 5 star review. It also helps to reduce the AUX fan, I assume the field lifted on the left side where the AUX fan is the strongest. I hope you and your family have a good time playing :)
