Description

A1 Mini Table Chain - Model 1

The cable chain system for a 3D printer is a practical solution that allows for neat cable management. The chain encloses the cables, keeping them organized and protecting them from mechanical wear during the printer's movements. Additionally, it enhances the overall appearance of the setup, giving it a professional and tidy look.

IMPORTANT: this version eliminates the issue of the upper mount cover colliding with the hotend nozzle what you can find in the chain of other models.

The complete set consists of:

- Bottom Mount
- Chain
- Table Mount

The files are print-ready, optimized, and intentionally positioned to enhance both durability and appearance.

Check out my other upgrades for the A1 Mini as well!

A1 Mini Table Chain - Model 1
Printed very well. Unfortunately I had some issues fitting it onto a bed cable. It seems to be just a bit short as after a while it pulls the bottom end off its place. I printed an extra link but this time the chain became too long. I’m not sure If there were any modifications to the bed cable in meantime that would change the length it could it be manufacturing inconsistency (the cain came like 5-7mm short.

These printers are just like that—all the cables have different lengths, as if they were made by eye. A lot of people mention this in the comments, not just under this project. It's a characteristic of these printers: for one person, it fits perfectly, for another, it's too short, and for someone else, it's way too long XD

When I have time I'll see if I can tinker with the table-side part and make it just a bit longer so it fits. I believe this one should be the easiest one to play with.

lol, seems like I haven't send the reply... When I have time I'll try to tinker with the bedside part - it should be easy to make it just a bit longer. Anyway it's the easiest part to play with so I'll see how it comes.

I had to download the third print plate via the Bambu Studio desktop app to be able to print it Nevertheless I think the model is excellent Therefore it definitely gets five stars

Thank you very much for your feedback. I've already heard a few times that the third plate doesn’t work from the phone app—it seems to be some sort of application bug. Unfortunately, I don't have control over it; it's likely an issue on Bambu's side.

It not an application bug. When I opened up the 3rd plate in bambu studio its giving me an error saying object is too tall to print. Looks like swapping the plate settings, print sequence from by object to by layer fixed it. Im sure if you printed on a larger printer like a1, p1 or x1 you wouldn't get this issue but it shows up on the a1 mini.

I downloaded the file and, indeed, I also encountered the same issue XD. I have no idea how it worked for me before. It's now fixed, and the updated file has been uploaded!

lots of small brims that need to be removed, but they are necessary since the parts are so small. fits well. the bottom holder has slots on the underside to fit the last chain link.

That’s a very nice color! What filament is it? In one of the pictures, I noticed some stringing, so it’s possible that your temperature is not set correctly or the filament might be moist.

Just like the Z axis cable chain the creator has also uploaded, this drag chain has nicely beveled edges for a creak-and-pinch free flex. My choice of matte pla seems to have given the joints a bit of a gritty feeling but otherwise, the tolerances are impeccable for a print on a right out of the box printer! There were some issues with my print jobs, as you can see in the print profile, but the canceled print jobs were due to an app issue and not the model itself.

Great ! One thing is that I couldn't print the A1-mini 3rd plate from my phone. I was getting slice error. I had to download it on the computer in order to fix the issue and slice it. Worked fine after that.
