Description

Take a look at my new creation… A miniature Searchlight / Batsignal for you to print and enjoy!

It makes use of the Bambu Lab LED Light kit 001. See pictures, Dummy13 for scale…

I designed this to look like a World War 2 anti aircraft Search Light but of course I had to include different masks so you can also use it to display the Batman Logo!

I included different Light masks so you can choose what you want it to look like. Use the “Bullseye” mask to represent a WW2 Searchlight or use any of the Batman Logo's, depending on your era of Batman of course.

I also included different colored lenses for the Light Kit so you can change what color light de searchlight projects. Print any color you like and change it out as you want. The LED can always be removed from the searchlight so change as often as you want.

Build instructions (Let me know if something is not clear):

Take a look at all the parts:

Step 1:

take the white lightshroud and put the first ring on it. This ring has a solid ring on the front, unlike the others where the slits in the side run all the way through. Make sure the ring is mounted on all the way. It is a tight fit, but it will go on there.

Step 2:

Slide on 3 of the generic ring type so the lamp looks like this:

Step3:

Find the ring with the holes in the side (this is the hinge) and slide it on next.

Step 4:

Slide on another generic ring and finish with the ring that has the pins sticking out as shown:

Step 5:

Find the endcap and put a drop of glue in the small holes.

Step 6:

Put the endcap on the lamp and hold it until the glue is dry as shown.

Step 7:

Assemble the stand as shown

Step 8:

Put the desired lens inside the LED kit as shown and insert it in the lamp holder and into the backplate. Skip this step if you just want to use the white light.

Step 9:

Put soms glue in both holes for the hinge. Insert the lamp in the bracket and hold the lamp in the desired angle and let the glue dry.

Step 10:

Pick a mask you like and glue it on the front of the lamp. Now you are done!
