Description

Simple and easy to print upgrade for Fanatec CSL clutch pedal.

It is possible to print from PLA or PETG. PLA is strong enough, I am using my PLA prototype for one year.

List of needed hardware is in attached PDF.

How does it work?
The added spring creates a higher resistance when the pedal is depressed, the more the pedal is depressed, the less the resistance of added spring applied, until the resistance disappears completely at the end of the stroke.

A high resistance at the beginning and a smaller one at the end simulates the behavior of plate spring in real car clutch.

Shifting using the clutch is then much more natural and there is less frequent "tooth counting" and mishifts due to an incompletely pressed clutch.

so i printed everything for this kit, and i have been waiting for the hardware to show up. rod end bearing showed up last. I bought the exact rod end bearing you listed in your PDF (from amazon) and i think this is just because its a cheap product but the rod end won't thread the 6M bolt. Like the item description even says 6M but 6M (or 5M) wont thread into it? lol am i going crazy? any ideas? tomorrow im going to go through a bunch of non metric bolts i have in my garage. But other than that the kit looks and feels awesome i cant wait to get it working edit: I think my rod end bearing is left handed thread and my 120mm bolt is right handed thread. Yea,,,,, so watch out for that

Thanks warning. I personally did not buy the end rod bearing on Amazon. I added the link to the product because I wanted to enable people to buy it outside the country where I live and I was based on the supplier's description. If the M6 screw does not fit into the bearing, then either the screw or the end bearing is bad. Unfortunately, I cannot judge this from a distance, try to get the same product from another supplier and I believe that you will be able to complete the kit.

I double checked it and yes it is my fault, this end rod bearing have left hand thread so it is opposite thread than on normal srew, thank you again and apologize for this mistake. I will change the manual as soon as possible.
