This is an overlay for the Asterisk stenography keyboard - (https://stenokeyboards.com/products/asterisk-keyboard?srsltid=AfmBOopvrrskp1OLLIXL-1fvaJ-dnZU9cc-hZLFbRQgVe71GJqvPhtHz)
This is so you don't accidentally hit the wrong key when writing.
The whole overlay uses 17 grams of filament and takes under one hour to print.
The two sides are hold in place by a wedge that hooks under the keyboard and by little nibs that go into the cutouts between the keys. It can be a little finicky to get the overlay into place as the nibs always lock into the cutout, so you have to lift off the overlay a bit while sliding it further towards the middle.
When done, the overlay sits firmly without glue or anything and can be removed by just pulling it up.
This is my about dozenth version of this model with two months of testing and revising. If you have any improvement ideas please let me know. The STEP files are also available to download.
