Thank you for this. For those of us in Europe and the U.K that no longer use imperial measurements, the dowel pins are 2.5mm. They can be obtained cheaply as split pins from Amazon I.E. https://www.amazon.co.uk/DTGN-2-5mmx12mm-DxL-Slotted-Spring/dp/B0CW8JR7D5/ref=sr_1_33?crid=X869VMVA74PT Or you can look for the more expensive solid steel ones (Not necessary for this tool).

Thank you so much for this! I just slightly modified the model so I could use some nails I had on hand instead of the recommended dowels (and I also made the handle a tad bit shorter so it didn't overlap with the calibration area during printing). Works great! (First time I've managed to open these high temp spools, haha)

I printed 2 wrenches to assist in opening and closing Bambu refillable spools. Printed great in PLA with the color change in the first few layers. Assembling one went perfect, but the 2nd one had pins out of alignment, even using the tool included in the model. Caution to anyone printing this: take your time when inserting the dowel pins.

This is a fantastic model. Liked it soooo much I've printed another one to handle those stubborn tightly locked spools. I didn't have a press for the pins but I made do with some pliers....lol.

Absolutely brilliant model, thank you. Printed in BL PLA Matte "Ash Grey" for the body, "Matte Charcoal" for the text and some of the "Bambu Green" sample filament that came with my P1S printer for the Bambu logo. Printed two of them to make locking and unlocking spools super easy. Painless print, worked first time on both prints. Thank you!

what an amazing tool! Great and easy to print design! (Sorry, only had black - would have liked to show your logo) in europe i used 2,5x12 mm pins from amazon. will boost!
