Description

Introducing a clip designed for safely handling the Bambu Lab print bed without direct contact! It works for any build plate from Bambu Lab.

This tool weighs just 3g, and its two pieces snap together seamlessly, providing a solid grip with no need for anything else. The clip prints fast, and while PLA is a viable option, PETG or ABS is recommended for better durability under high bed temperatures.

I added the print profiles for A1 Mini plates, unfortunately they are completely different. I haven't a Mini so I hope they fit good, please let me know!

Adjusted my review on this. designer reached out after first review and listened to issues and took it all on board. he then went away and redesigned the product to make it a 5 star functional print. amazing this makes me happy to be part of a supportavice 3D printing community.

Thank you very much for feedback unfortunately I haven't a Mini so I just did it by following the plate CAD. Could you share a picture to explain the issue? I'd like to fix it.

it’s a nice little design a little tweek and it would be better. just needs a bit more of a layer on the pins. included a picture as the pins are pushing through. but still a nice little design.

That's weird! Did you print it by profile or by downloading the STLs? Because it should close nicely together I never seen an issue like that (I'm going to reprint it)

For the A1 mini plate, I think you need a bit more spacing in between the two female ends. If that side goes all the way through, then it should fit well. Independently the pieces fit great and the gap looks to be the right thickness.

Update. After much, sanding and shearing, I’ve gotten it to fit onto the A1 mini plate. It works well, but now comes off a little easier.

My first ever PETG print - it seemed to print well but there's a very small part which broke when I put the clip on a plate.

I just added the print profile for A1 Mini but you could use the other one too and just select your A1 Mini as printer

Quick print that uses minimal filament. Really does help minimise touching the plate. Very hard to get the two sides to click into place - I think this could be improved. I was unable to close the clip completely.
