You can print it in PLA, it doesn't cause any problems.

Preparation
- Add flour and sugar to a bowl. Add the butter in small pieces and the egg and knead into a shortcrust pastry. The dough may initially appear crumbly, but with further kneading it will become a kind of crumb and finally a homogeneous dough. Possibly finish by hand.
- Shape the dough into two balls and wrap in foil and chill for at least half an hour. Longer is even better.
- Preheat oven to 175 degrees top and bottom heat. Remove the first ball of dough from the refrigerator and let it come to room temperature for a short time. Press it flat with your hand. Then roll it out on a lightly floured work surface or better yet between foil.
- Cut out about 20-30 cookies depending on the desired size and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, leaving some space between each cookie. Proceed in the same way with the second portion of dough. Knead together any remaining dough and chill briefly again.
- Brush the cookies with a whisked egg yolk if desired. Bake for about 10-12 minutes until golden brown, depending on the thickness. Let cool, remove from the baking sheet and decorate with icing, sprinkles, etc. as desired.
