FedEx backed their truck into my roofline and squished my gutters. This isn't the first time it's happened. They won't pay for a full replacement through insurance, only a depreciated value of what the repair costs, which they cut you a cheque for.
So I decided since it's likely to get damaged again - I will give a go at fixing it myself. Un-denting gutters is no easy task, as the thing aluminum can be easy enough to be bent.. not the way you want. So using contour profile tools I took a profile of the inside and outside of my gutter and made a block mold that I could use clamps on to pressure fit the gutter back into it's original shape. Actually it worked pretty good! I don't know how much these profile shapes vary but I'm uploading this model incase it can help someone or maybe give some a good idea on what they need to do if they want to try and fix it themselves.
I'm included a long and short version of the mold + a smaller print that you can quickly make to test and see if the profile is right for you.
