Description

Filament Container Mount - Keep Your Filament Organized and Dry

Effortlessly store and organize your filament with this Filament Container Mount! Designed for standard 4-liter cereal storage containers available on Amazon, this mount is optimized to securely hold Bambu filament rolls, ensuring your filament stays dry and within reach.

You will find two sizes - standard and extra long. The extra long version avoids falling of from shelf if loaded with more items like moisture meter. Thank you for feedback @MrHappy4Life.

Design & Compatibility:

Inspired by this model, the upgraded design supports up to 13 containers on a 1.60m wide standard shelf, making it easy to expand your storage. Each mount features rounded edges for added strength and durability, providing a sleek look and reliable performance for years to come.

Features:

  • Enhanced Screw Compatibility

The mount accommodates 5mm diameter screws, with an inner hole depth of 9mm, perfect for securely mounting on wooden wall boards of up to 19mm thickness. Screws of 25mm length are recommended for optimal support, and we’ve adjusted the hole positions for easy installation with a drill driver. (See pictures for reference.)

  • Precision Hole Gauge

Included is a handy hole gauge to precisely mark where to drill. Use small nails (1.2mm diameter recommended) to align holes for a perfect fit.

  • Drill Bit Guide

A plate is included to support a 3mm drill bit, guiding your drill up to a maximum depth of 16mm – ideal for securely mounting to wooden walls.

Overview of Additional Items You May Arrange

  • ⌀3mm drill, screwdriver and bits
  • 4 x ⌀1.2mm nails & hammer - for Precision Hole Gauge
  • 25mm x ⌀5mm screws - for mounting the model on wooden back board
  • Wooden back board 19mm thickniss and additional screws for mounting it on the wall

Print was great, but unfortunately it didn't fit my cereal boxes (was too wide, and didn't accommodate my lids' latching mechanisms. So I took some measurements and re-modeled it from the ground up to fit... After several enhancements (including a tab at the back to prevent the boxes from sliding off inadvertently, and 5 or 6 iterations, I decided to go full circle and make it multiboard compatible, as I wanted some space to hold other printer related tools with my filament. My multiboard compatible version has its mounting holes 25mm o.c. instead of OP's 28mm, and has 17mm countersinks (vs 11mm), and 7mm diameter holes (vs 5mm), at 5mm depth (vs 4mm), to accommodate multiboard's plastic hardware. These holes are slightly less convenient for traditional screws, but still compatible. Will share my models shortly once I make sure everything works!

These work really well. I mounted them to the front of my desk which uses the space much better than before. I used replaceable vertical filament holders to make it easier to identify the colors. Thanks for a great design.

A little over 15 starts on this print (all but one canceled before finishing). I have the X1C and am running PETG + from Inland. I had everything from over extrusion clumps to subpar temps with scraping and sticking, and stringing. If your running this setup, or this filament, and are getting these issues or similar, I'd recommend these as a better starting. If you find a way to further improve them please let me know. I think these work for now, but I'm not too optimistic how they will handle less flat and square pieces.

Fits well, prints easily and is also suitable for the cans visible in the photograph. These are the Skroam Müüslidose 4L from Amazon
