I printed mine using the AMS before the AMS profile was printed. I made 9 at one and just the heads took 54 hours.

Great result! Creating well-designed models without supports for printing is challenging. I try to find ways to segment the model for printing while avoiding unsightly glue lines, but it's not an easy task.

The various pieces printed very cleanly on the exposed surfaces. I’d like to know if there’s a secret for getting the mating surfaces to connect flush. The supports came off all right for the most part, but could use a little cleanup.

I had no issues assembling the parts. Since the support on the hat is red, but the base hat color is white, it was relatively easy to remove support completely. Soon, I’ll add an AMS plate with the complete head for those who have trouble gluing parts together. The separations are only meant to reduce filament waste, but for printing, it’s easier to print the head as one piece.

body was an easy print ! hat on the other hand... 3 attempts. first 2 failed as twice the same supports broke. last attempt succeed but the supports (same again)!did failed too as you can see on the picture. quite difficult to get rid of the broken filament. I dried the filament and tried with and without glue on the plate. in the end it worked ! and he is gorgeous 🥰
