I think I'm missing something? Printing multiple printed as literally 2 separate pieces and I see no way to join them..

Oh wow, I genuinely have no clue how this happened. Both the 3mf and stl file have the two pieces connected so it prints in place and can be used right off the print plate. I'm not even sure how one would go about separating the two in the slicer without the Fusion360 file since I exported it as a single model. This is a head scratcher. Sorry if you'll have to print all these again, but I do not have an answer for this one.

Ah-ha! I'm wrong here, yeah the top and bottom are two separate models, but the 3mf file has them together. I believe during your slicing process the top and bottom were shifted apart, so they weren't together properly to complete the hinge. I'd suggest redownloading the 3mf file to ensure its in the right place!

I had the same issue trying to print multiple at once. I'm going to try printing a single one at a time and see what that changes.

Printed using default profile on an X1C in Bambu PLA on a Textured PEI Plate. This is a super-adorable print that's lots of fun. I love the print in place design with working hinge. Looks great in grey Bambu PLA. Like others have reported below, it doesn't close fully by default. In my print, I had some very faint strings between the bars as well. For a laugh, I designed and printed an impractically tiny lock shaped clip that fits across the two halves to keep it shut tight when necessary.

Could you please share the file for the lock? It looks very good!

Love this model so much I needed to review it! 4.5 stars - the two halves required some fiddling in order for it to latch properly (one side needs to be pushed back more). I also wasn't paying attention when printing multiple copies and the two halves did not print intertwined with each other. I ended up having to cut the male half on one side and feed it in. 5 out of 5 if those issues are resolved! Regardless, a really fun ingenious print! Thank you!

Printed fine, but like others it's hard to close all the way, but I think it's fine

Used A1 mini with Bambulad PLA Matte, some superficial stringing that is easy to remove. All my players have asked for one.

Prints well. The joint works perfectly but it won't stay shut completely.

Tolerances are too tight, the jail does not close fully

really stringy between the bars, and the little latch knob thing doesn't keep it closed, but both are minor issues and it works as desired for isolating dice that consistently roll nat1s and need to learn their lesson before being rolled again

I put my naughty dice in here and tell them to do better and 8/10 they do! Even with my friend's bad d20, it got over 10 with 4 rolls. 2 of which were 20s. Design wise I would say make the latch a little bigger.
