This is my recreation of the League Of Legends hextech chest (made it as birthday gift fot a friend, who loves lol), I've eyeballed it from one image, most of the parts are printed with color change after 1mm, i've used Prusament anthracite grey PETG and Prusament clear PETG. Finished the model with gold acrylic colour (Citadel colour, base, Retributor Armour - my advice, buy the smallest brush you can find, mine was too big so I overpainted a few times) and some blue LEDs.

I've tried making my own little hinges, but the were really bad, so I used these that work great (https://www.printables.com/cs/model/202-hinge)

You can print custom walls if you make them 10x10 with 3mm vertical stripe on both sides for sliding inside the base. For example using lithophane champions looks nice (Zoe is great, Orianna looks really bad - might need some tweaking).

Note that this is my first big modeling and printing make, there might be some small errors.

I recommend building a pillar in middle of base and rotate the led strip from bottom to top around it, you will get better led coverage, plus it won't obstruct the hinge. Also I'd make the base 4 pillars a little stronger.
