I'm in love with this lamp!! Was a bit of a struggle at first to find the best print settings for this design with translucent PETG, but it came out beautiful. Modified it so it would fit the Bambu light puck. Sorry for the photo spam, but I just had to show it off! Thank you so much for this design!!

Hey! I love your model and the way you made everything click together. I had a slight preference for another creators lamp shade, but i modified the files to make it fit on your base. I've also changed the socketholder to make it more snug on an e26 ones i bought. The other thing I noticed, the version i printed in wood filament was much more snug on the bottom. The PLA basic version slips off whenever i pick up the lamp. So I'm currently printing a version where the interior is slightly larger and doesn't fall off

Wow, cool mod! i am glad you liked the lamp.... or the base and fastner design anyway ;) The wierd thing is that when i printed the base and bottom part the fitment was almost too snug. But i left it snug because I would rather have that, than a bottom that falls when I move the lamp. Did you mix filaments when printing? like base in PLA and the bottom in Wood PLA? Thx for the boost btw!

No, I didn't mix filaments ! I guess the wood filament is slightly thicker. I finished my print on that bottom part. I made the interior 1% larger and it is SO snug haha. I used Basic Bambu PLA. Also, I modified the opening for the slit on the base. I made the opening smaller, because I wanted the lamp shade to be a little tighter when connected. I think it helps the lamp shade to stay in place (you know in case you wanted to pick it up and start waving it around, haha).

@Tche is it possible for you to provide the modified lampshade with the appropriate thread for the base shown here? If not, could you direct me to where I might find the design?

I absolutely loved this print It is magnificent For the lighting I preferred this type of LED from Bambu Lab which I simply placed on the surface and allows me to change the color with the remote control

Love the lamp design. Can anyone help me with the settings…the shade does not print the top part with a clean surface. I already tried to minimize speed and tried a few temperature settings. Has anyone a few tipps? I use the a1 printer.

looks like the printer can't cope with the overhang and the filament dont stick to the layer below. Did you alter the layer height settings? if so, revert back to 0.28(i think) that was in the print profile. If not, try and print with a slightly lower printheight, 0.24 or 0.2. Also split the model and do a test print from the height when the problems start to show just to make sure it works
