Anyone with an A1 or A1 Mini knows how the AMS lite Hub/Buffer on top of the extruder can flex and even break due to over stress - here’s your solution! Support Version is designed to accommodate my A1 / A1 Mini PTFE Support Removal model.

The Hub Armor prevents the AMS Hub/Buffer from over flexing/bending.

Two Versions Available:

SOLO Version - Slides right over your AMS lite HUB
SUPPORTED VERSION - Slides over my PTFE Support/Removal Model
The perfect support that stabilizes AMS lite hub and provides even more reliable retractions.
FYI: Found the best color match to the A1 chassis color is Bambu PLA Light Grey (Aff. Link)

good print and idea. the problem is every layer it goes to the purge wiper and leaves residue in the print

What? Every layer a purge? That's not right at all. Wonder if your printer is detecting somthing?

it didn't purge it just move over to the purge wiper and by the time it got back to the print imsome filament had leaked out of the nozzle. it's ok I cleaned it with the tools in the pic

amazing!!!! definitely worth printing for the A1 or A1 mini didn't use your print profile had no problem printing with my own and all my profile has is retraction and zhop keep up the great work

updating rating as user error is not creator or print profiles fault. :D I got it to print beautifully with a brim. :D

First I've heard of this. Are you using the profile I provided? Do you hear it clicking/hitting the model while printing. Try slowing down the print, move the model in the slicer to a different part of the bed, and maybe your printer needs a brim to hold this better to the bed.

Hi, before I rated I did try several different things. To answer your questions: What printer? A1 that I got september 16th 2024 Are you using the profile I provided? Yes What filament are you using? I've tried several, Bambu Labs PLA, eSun PLA, Bambu Labs Silk, Jayo Silk. Please note that ALL of these filaments print without issues other files. Do you hear it clicking/hitting the model while printing. There are no sounds when printing. Try slowing down the print. Yes.

I've tried everything, you mentioned, and my printer just doesn't want to print it. I see all the amazing pictures, so no doubt it's something on my end that i've not managed to narrow down yet.

works like a charm. is there clip we can insert into the open slot to prevent accidental ptfe tube removal?

That open slot shows the PTFE HUB as it moves, I don't think accidental PTFE removal is even possible on the AMS lite. That thing is so tight. Hey! Thanks for the BOOST!

Thanks again Kev, only 3 days into my 3D printing adventure and had a nasty block in the filament hub! front right has been giving me a bit of trouble and on the hub so hopefully this resolves. none the less it certainly looks well :) Regards, Matt

Hey Matt, clogs happen, but the PTFE support should help make it easier to remove tubes and provide a straighter path for filament.
