Here's a fun and satisfying compact fidget toy. It folds in almost every direction and has flows though different shapes easily.

This is a version of my popular “Infinite Flippy Flappy” series of fidget toys that is designed to be everlasting as it uses print-in-place joints instead of live PLA joints.

The way the joints work means they can also be bent in both directions allowing even more combinations that before!

Printing instructions: - this is an easy print! Just use the provided profile - you can choose the single colour or two colour print which swaps colours halfway through!

Let me know if you prefer this version or one of the originals.

Nice, but why your model has weird notch, as seen in photo upper left?

well spotted. It seems to be an issue from where I imported the file into Bambu Studio. Will fix it up when I get a moment. though for now let's think of it as a watermark for when someone rips off the model and uploads it as their own 😂.

I've tried several of your flappers and it's refreshing to have one that lasts more than a half dozen folds. thanks for the major upgrade.

That looks amazing! I bet the new version would look super in that transparent PLA with red for the accents: https://makerworld.com/en/models/815667

I've started the print five times, unfortunately I can't eliminate the warping, I've thoroughly cleaned the plate, reduced the speed to 50%, set the bed to 60 degrees, lowered the nozzle temperature and ruled out any drafts affecting the print. I really like the design, let's see if I can still print it, maybe the bed heating isn't even…

Printed several of these and all the hinges worked beautifully. I'm very impressed!

I am fairly new to 3D printing, I have learned that there are some really cool ideas out there. But unfortunately, about 70% of them are poorly implemented or just plain waste of time. That is not the case with this design, it is well thought out, and very well debugged. The fidget itself is great, hours of fun will be had with this one.
