JD Geared Fidget Engine Piston

A geared engine piston - for learning the mechanical principle of how an engine works.

Also great for idle fidgeting.

Strength Issue:breaks easily, twice now.

The green gear has a slight bevel on one side but not the other. The beveled side must face the pin when inserting. The black gear and white gear is assembled wrong on the image you show here; see the assembly images for the correct orientation.

good intensions but the connection pins break, even pressing it with the beveled side facing down. all of them. had also some print issues with the skeletonized sides.

Other Issues:Cylinder walls have holes in them that catch on the piston as it passes by, this leads to a constant sticking that is is not cathartic.
