Description

Tired of wrapping presents? Too bad, but this will make it easier. An Accessory to my Wrapping Station Paper Holders, this holds a standard 1in/25mm ID Tape roll and clamps anywhere on the table for easy access. Instead of having this integrated into the paper holder, it is separate to allow placement at easy to reach areas of the table. Or set it beside the paper holder for a perfect seamless match look.

Tearing Tape: If the cutting teeth are not quite doing the job, insert a Bambu Scraper blade in the newly added slot!

Clamps onto tables that are 20-31mm thick (maybe more).

Can be printed in PLA or PETG

Please beware of profiles that are not by the designer (me). They are not using the most up to date design version.

NOTE: The honeycomb pattern is done during slicing so your 3D preview will not see it.

V1.9 UPDATE: I've Updated the cutting teeth and added a slot to insert the Bambu Scraper blade to cut even easier! 11/7/24

Happy Wrapping

Printed the file, came out really nice. Still getting used to this new roll of filament, so I could have done better on my heat settings I think. Excellent model, and useful too.

It's Polymaker flat teal, it's what was on the printer at the time, and I went with it.

Just printed this and your matching paper holders for a friend who's big on Xmas. Sadly, even with the extended cutting teeth it will not work with cellotape, perhaps only Scotch Tape. One thing of note, the dimensions are a perfect fit for a Bambu Labs scraper blade (see photo): https://uk.store.bambulab.com/products/bambu-scraper-3-pcs?

great idea. I had looked at this blade and made width close to it but was worried of people cutting themselves. I will adapt it to fit on the next version!

Did a quick and dirty friction fit hack on mine, the blades no sharper than a wallpaper scraper really so safe enough imo. Looking forward to the next version. Side note, there's a parts wishlist on the Maker's Supply store, if the blade was added there instead of the spare parts store, then this design would qualify for the Creator Program...

Overall really like the print. However, the bending portion of this part seemed to deteriorate fairly quickly, although that most likely is a PLA issue. I wonder if the filled in sides are needed though for this part.

yeah.. this doesnt match my model. I use slicer settings to alleviate the issues you are seeing and expose infil in specific places. please use my .3mf file that includes that information.

V1.9 update works perfectly on generic tape with the added slot for a Bambu scraper blade! 👌

printed great, I just didn't realise it only had one side and you needed to print the holder separately

I had mine fail twice now where the 'prongs' attach to the center ring. Maybe some kind of infill or structure would help there? I'm just starting on my 3d printing game and not sure how to adjust it to make it a little more rigid.

I downloaded it yesterday. it ripped exactly on the print layer where those prongs start.
