Most paper spool adapters suffer from a couple of issues. One is that the spool will eventually loosen its grip so that the adapter will spin without turning the paper spool. The official eSun adapter has holes to allow fixing the filament end. This design converts those holes to pegs which snap into the holes of the paper spool, preventing the ring from turning.
