The Wardrobe for every Biker! A must Have!

Fellow Bikers, You and I know the Struggle.. Paying 1000s of Dollars for our Lovely Helmet and Leatherkombis.. But.. No one see´s them when we dont wear them. Also, they take up so much Space in the Closet. So here comes my Solution for this Problem.

The RACE MOUNT

If you Like my Work, Please show some Makes, give a like and if you want to, a little Boost :) I Appreciate every Single one

I spend half a Year to figure out the Perfect Solution which is Eyepleasing, Easy to Print and Holds my Helmet, Keys and the Rest of my Bikewear. Here are some Informations about my Design and what Features it brings to the Table :)

RACE MOUNT is a Bikerwardrobe which can Hold your Helmet, Your Jacket or Leatherkombi and, of Course, Your Precious Keys.

Its Designed for a Minimalistic look and at the same time, to get the most Use out of it as possible. I wanted it to be Leightweight but Sturdy, Usefull but looking good. A little Technical too.

Installation Guide:

First of, you need some Non 3D Printed Parts. The List below is Everything you need besides the 3D Printed Parts.

  • 10x M3 Washers 6.5mm Diameter
  • 10x M3 Threated inserts
  • 6x M3 x12 Screws
  • 4x M3 x25 Screws

I Printed mine in PETG-CF for Max Durability. You will need around 1,3 Kg of Filament for this Print. Also, Make sure your Printplate is Clean, all around, also the Edges. The Mainframe and the Kombihook takes almost the Complete Buildplate close to the edge. So, make sure that thing is Clean to geht good Bedadhession.

Lets Start the assembly:

All 3D Printed Parts and the Screws needed (Heated inserts are already melted in)

Threated Inserts mounted in the Mainframe and the Kombihook

Snap the Mainframe in the Backplate, its a tight Fit. Make sure to remove all the Supports!

Take the 6 M3 x12 Screws, Put one washer on each of them and screw them in. Be Carefull not to tightem them to Hard!

Time to Mount the Kombihook under the Mainframe. Same as the Backplate. Use 4 M3 x25 Screws with Washers to mount it.

Time to put it on the Wall :) The Keysafe can be filled with Keys, Transmitters or even the Paperwork for your Bike.

Just put the Keysafe it in the Mainframe when filled. Its a relatively tight fit. it Stays in Place but is also Easy to remove.

Mount it to the Wall: Depending which Wall you have you will need 4 Dowels to mount it. Dont tighten the 4 Screws to tight. They can Easily Rip trough the Plastic when to tight. And voillah, there is your new Bikerwardrobe.

Use the included Markingtemplate to Drill the Holes in the right Spacing

Now youre Ready to Go :) or better, Ready to Rest and have your Bikewear Sorted and stored nicely. Have Fun Printing and leave a Like, A Comment/Make and, if you want to, a Boost. I appreciate it

I started printing this and the hanger portion is too small for my jackets. Currently I use Baker Shoulder Saver Hangers that have a hook that threads in like a bolt. Could you make the main section where the hanger mounts have a single 6 mm hole in the center instead of the 4 for the hanger mount?

thank you for the Feedback, i will have a Look at it, should be no problem to implement that. i let you know when ready. So, just a 6mm hole in the middle where These 4 holes are right now?

I think I was able to do it in Tinkercad. I was looking to blank out the 4 holes and replace them with one 6mm hole in the middle. Printing now, I'll post a pic later if it works out or reach out to see if you can do it if it doesn't print correctly. Thanks for the quick response.

Hello, the description mentions 10 M3 washers with a diameter of 6.5 mm, but the link shows a diameter of 6 mm and a height of 5 mm These are not the same, which one is correct

hey, thank yor for the question. unfortunaly bambu lab sells no bigger ones than the Linked ones. the 6mm Version is also usable without any issuse. So the ones in the link work just as fine, hope this helps and thank you for the Feedback, I appreciate it 🫶
