Hello there!
If you're reading this, you probably stumbled upon my other model, the Kessel Sabacc Card Game Essentials!
This model offers a nice way to store those essentials in a compact, star wars looking, box.
If you haven't saw my other model, I'll advise you to check it out since this box would be kinda useless otherwise.
“Aren't you a little short for an organizer?”, no.
The case:
This case consists of little parts and can be put together easily with 18 spare screws from the Bambu Lab A1 printer.
"But how does it do organizing?" you may ask, this is how:
The Chip-vials:
The Chip-vials offer a more civilized way to hand every player their chips!
Every player gets their vial, pulls up the clear PETG barrier, and spends their chips until their wallets are empty!
After playing, the player or the host can return the chips in the vial and store them away in the case.
The Shift pockets:
The shift pockets are located one very side of the polygon shaped box, except for where the drawers are.
These pockets can be opened by wiggling a finger through the window of the hinging door and pulling it up.
The shift tokens fit nicely in to the pockets and have almost no space to move in any other direction, i made sure to leave just enough room for one finger to winch the shift tokens out of their pockets.
Disclaimer: Now these hinging doors are supposed to be tight and print in place, but I've seen mixed results on my own printer where the tolerances aren't the same between prints (which is pretty normal).
So in the worst case (get it?) scenario, the doors won't be tight and if you hold the case upside-down planet earths natural tractor beam (no space station) will show that the force is strong on the tokens.
The Card drawers:
And last but not least, the card drawers! (and I don't mean the players)
The card drawers are located on the sides of the polygon shaped case and snap into place when closed.
They can be opened by pulling the screw as a knob
(in the pictures I drilled the holes myself because I forget to add holes in the model at first).
The player or host has access to the cards, and the die. Now getting the cards out of their pockets isn't the easiest task but trust me, it certainly isn't the hardest. Do it or don't do it, trying is so 1976.
Because I was and still am too lazy to crack my brain open so I can model extra pockets and doors exclusively for the dice, they are placed in the drawers with the cards.
The drawers themselves just slide over the bottom of the case and are blocked from slipping out with a screw acting like a rail on either side.
Printing:
There is nothing special about printing this. Print it anyway you like, cheers!
Assembly:
To assemble the box, take a look at the last few pictures and follow these steps:
Lay the drawers between the middle part and onto the bottom part. Screw the 4 side screws for the drawers (the rails) into place.
(If you don't have a short enough Allen wrench you might want to screw these screws in before assembling the bottom and middle part and fit the drawers in between while assembling the bottom and middle part.
Thanks for printing and reading!
