Apple Pencil Case Version 2
As the diameter of all Apple Pencil generations is the same, and the length varies slightly, with the first generation being the longest, this case is also applicable to other generations and compatible with all Apple Pencils, although other generations will have extra space, which does not affect the use.
This is an improved version of this https://makerworld.com/en/models/194309#profileId-214829 Apple Pencil case, completely redesigned.
Prints in one piece without the need to install the spindle, which many people have reported breaking easily during installation.
Easier locking clasp, even a bit over-designed.
Added a separate nib case, the nib and cap charger are less likely to fall off. The slide cap also has a catch, preventing it from falling off.
The slide cover has the option of installing a 4mmx2mm magnet, so the latch locks automatically and won't open during shaking, and has a dampened feel.
There is a rotary locking safety knob on the top, and when closed, the slide cover underneath will not be able to open, preventing it from opening during travel.
Overall dimensions are 13mm x 13mm x 240mm, probably the smallest Apple Pencil case out there.
It uses two colors, bright green and dark blue, which makes them look nice together.
Installation Notes:
Installation Instructions:
All 3 printed parts
Remove the slider support, as shown in the picture from left to right. Sand the bottom, but be careful not to remove the protrusion.
Gently bend the pen box.
The upper and lower parts will naturally separate, be careful not to use too much force.
Carefully cut the spindle seam with a knife. Make sure each spindle is independent.
Insert the knife into the gap and slowly push it towards the spindle, separating the two parts.
Finally, you can easily separate the spindles. I have done this more than 10 times, and never failed.
Insert the slider from the end of the pen box.
The final part will be blocked by the slider protrusion, you need to use a toothpick or something else to gently pry and push it in, so the slider won't fall out during use.
Finally, press on the knob.
