Description

This model is an extension of my original design located here:

https://makerworld.com/en/models/142228#profileId-154855

The original design was very popular and included cases for single, double, and quadruple 18650 batteries. One feature often asked for is the ability to identify the individual battery's charge… which inspired this new model.

This replaces the cap with a new design indicating whether the battery is charged or depleted (or anywhere in between). You will need to print the body (only) from the original design and then print this model, which will snap together with a satisfying click.

I printed a number of these in PLA and PETG and they seem to work very well although I did find that the PETG version was more resistant so I would strongly recommend using PETG for everything but the indicator wheel.

Quad case with charge indicator: this model

Single and double case with charge indicator: https://makerworld.com/en/models/713952#profileId-644449

Original single, Double and quad case with no charge indicator: https://makerworld.com/en/models/142228#profileId-154855

Please note: Depending on your printer and setup, you may find that once assembled, the indicator wheel is a little stiff. This goes away with a little use.

Assembly is the same for single, double and quad cases and is super easy. Here is a video
