Description

Tired of wrapping presents? Too bad, but this will make it easier. 2 clamps with conical ends that hold the wrapping paper tube at the tables edge. Pull the amount you need and cut. Then it's ready for the next gift. Clamps onto tables that are 20-31mm thick (maybe more).

Happy Wrapping

Love it, printed in PLA festive colours and also happens to be a convenient caddy for my paper cutter! My workspace uses cheap 3/4" MDF as a countertop and I know some friends have glass dining room tables, with that in mind do you think an optional collar would be a useful addition? I'm using a couple of sanding sponges as shims to jerry rig mine but the collar seems a more elegant solution for those with thinner work surfaces :)

Yes that could work! I will work towards another version. Of course.. you could add a cylinder in Bambuslicer and print it yourself to in the meantime.

Ahh, I shall have to learn that. Very much 3d noob, took me hrs just to make a hole in something using Blender :/

open the file in bambu studio. right click on my part>add part>cylinder. now select the cylinder that appears and size and position it as needed. now slice and see if it looks ok. that's the most basic way to do it.

Thank you! A truly beautiful model, which also works great as a kitchen paper holder outside of the gift-giving season ☺️ Printed on a P1S with Bambu PETG Basic

Printed perfectly, but I think I should have used something other than PLA. I’m very new to this and still have almost no idea what I’m doing, which makes this printing perfectly all the more awesome. Me thinks PETG would have been a better choice. Great model, thank you for sharing!

It is, I’m just trying to find the best filament for certain applications. Nothing to do with your design. I’m really new at this and trying to figure things out.

Printed great and work perfect on our 38mm/1.5in table. Very surprised at how much flex there is on the clamp to accommodate different thicknesses.

Oh, that would mean it could fit on my 40mm table?

printed well. feels sturdy. will find out how it works in a few weeks. the clamp is a little tight on my farmhouse table, but it is pretty thick. if it fails I think the new AMS TPU would work well.

That looks like PLA, Try PETG if it has issues. Both work but PETG is more compliant and returns back to the same position better.

yeah, it is PLA it was just a nice red, and was on the AMS. I don’t plan for it to last a long time. thanks for the design! I know it will get used a lot this Christmas!

Gamechanger. I have never been so fast in xmas wrapping. The Tapeholder was sadly not so nice, it fails by cutting the tape. But the Rollholder is outstanding.
