Description

This is my take on a way to store Bambu filament boxes/spools efficiently while looking nice. They allow you to take the bottom boxes/spools out of the stack without having to touch the ones above.

Slide the bins together via the top dovetail joint (MAKE SURE YOU SLIDE THEM TOGETHER STRAIGHT & CAREFULLY)

-Store 4 boxes of filament on 2 baskets

-Store up to 3 boxes of filament with an adapter on 1 basket

-5mm holes on the back panel to give you the ability to wall mount these if needed

Thank you for checking these out and happy printing!

-Chad The Dad

I can stack thoes filament boxes up without using your baskets more efficiently!!

the point was to be able to grab the bottom ones without having to lift the whole stack above. I'm sorry that this bothered you; I hope someone finds them useful in some way. They took a fair bit of time. Thank you for commenting.

regardless, I spent the time to make them “nice” for everyone on here. the description never claims “more efficiently” just that it adds a positive aesthetic while giving the ability for vertical storage. thanks for commenting, be well.

That is epic! My wife would kill me if I got that carried away printing... Only downside, I wish I found this design sooner, I like it a lot better than the first one I found. I'll be printing plenty of these in the days to come...shoot, do I need to go buy more rolls?

these are fantastic!! I’ve printed about 60 of them with no issues. they slide together with a little persuasion. The most I have stacked are about 12. Thank you again for helping me do some organization.

I’m simply blown away… thank you for the support- from the beginning. It’s really appreciated. the way you used them is exact how I envisioned them being used. So sick!!

the baskets are awesome. better storage of all the rolls of filament. printquality is very good, printed one honeycomb and one without. on the honeycomb theire a few off misprints but i think they got knocked off bij the nozzle. very tight fit, had to use a hammer to "slide" them in place.

thank you for the kind words! I noticed some people are saying the baskets are tight fit when connecting and I have tried to recreate it with faster settings and can’t seem to replicate. I would assume I should give the dovetail more room but I’m already on the cusp of what shouldn’t work so my ideas on it are pretty limited. that honey comb failure doesn’t seem to be an inherent issue with the model but I would like to dive into the slicer settings to further reduce the chances of that happening. thank you for the feedback and I really appreciate you printing these- it means everything!! have a great weekend and check on my page once in a while I may drop something you ‘need’. be well and stay safe

thx for the quick reply. the honey comb was due to the nozzle. a bit more z lift will do i thing. Keep up the good work and keep on printing.

Thanks for the hammer idea (I was worried something like that would just damage the shelves, but they are all tapped together now.

It has begun. As promised elsewhere on the internet Chad I'm taking this stack to the moon. So far so good. 7 rolls and the bottom one comes out with no issues. I'll post an update pic a couple times along the way.

Am I crazy or was there once a profile with a solid bottom full length shelf and hex walls? I have one printed, but my memory is garbage so maybe I forgot that I spent hours editing and not saving 😭 I have just under 30 of these (in varying versions) printed for different purposes. Thank you!

wow!! that’s definitely all you on that profile lol, I was thinking of the other shelf I had uploaded. awesome work I’m so impressed.. I know nothing about gridfinity or that side mount hex holder but it’s such a good system you incorporated, I love it. Really clean! Feel free to share those profiles if you didn’t lose them lol and I hope you get points for that too, I don’t know the whole system that well. kudos again!
