ABOUT THE PROJECT

The project tries to satisfy all Bambulab users, in fact, I have created print plates that use AMS but also copies that do not use it, structuring the filament change provided by Bambustudio. in the future, if there is demand, I will create a compatible version for the A1-mini printer.

I also thought about creating alternatives that are quicker to print and therefore don't require ironing. in short you will find 6 printing plates:

• one with ironing and with AMS,
• one with ironing but without AMS,
• one without ironing with AMS,

• one without ironing and without AMS,

   

• one with the hexagon with AMS,
• one with the hexagon without AMS.

ABOUT THE STRUCTURE

In the structure file you will find 3 plates, two for the ends of the structure (left and right) and one for the central part. The central part can be printed in the number you prefer to create the filament sample of the size you need. if you want a small structure, you can avoid printing the central part, thus mounting the ends directly. For wall mounting there are 4 holes for 4mm screws

ABOUT ASSEMBLY

I leave you an image to make it easier for you to assemble the structure. basically glue is not necessary, but this also depends on the material and brand of filament you use, as these factors affect the tolerances. in any case the use of glue is recommended.

ABOUT HEXAGON

The hexagons are completely customizable, I have prepared them to write: the color, the brand and the material. ATTENTION: the tolerances vary depending on the type of filament, I advise you to slightly scale the hexagons that do not fit together. For example, the Bambulab and Sunlu filaments work perfectly while the Polyterra ones need to be enlarged. The hexagon, inside, is empty, this is done both to save material, but also to do a test for suspended parts, for this reason supports are not provided

CUSTOMIZATION OF THE HEXAGONS

To customize the hexagons, simply right-click on the writing and choose the Edit Text option, then enter: the material, the brand and the color in all capital letters.

if the writing is too large I recommend reducing the size of the text as indicated in the figure
