Description

Small, low filament paint palette I modeled in Bambu Studio. This model uses less than 10g of filament with the provided print profile. I used this when we hosted a “painting party” so that we didn't have to buy a bunch of small paint trays. There are 9 smaller paint wells along two edges and then there are four larger wells for mixing colors.

came out a little hairy but nothing a pair of tweezers won't fix

Other Issues:a rather rough print but with some after print care it looks better. should be fine for what I need it for and it's cheap on filament

I appreciate the feedback, if the model is scaled up a bit it will clean up the layer line look in the paint wells. Across the 20 or so of these I had printed I did not run into any of the stringing akin to your photo, so I'm inclined to believe that is due to filament.

interesting. I only had my first printer for half a month and my friend gave me some anycubic filament as his printer is temporarily broken and he hasn't got round to fixing it

Appreciate the response! If the filament used was older and not dried before use that could definitely cause the stringing like you show. It's definitely not the prettiest of prints, my intention was as cheap as possible while still usable.

Simple, small, and efficient paint palette. I made a few tweaks to prevent the wispiness that others mentioned. Although it added more time (and I'm sure OP thought about it already) I added 15% infill to help the bridging for the top layer to adhere to better. Also tweaked ironing a bit but the biggest thing was just added that infill.
