I needed a more compact attachment method than the T-Clip system. Since I didn’t have any M2 or M2.5 machine screws available I used the more commonly available M3 screws instead.
Secure holders, organisers, bins, hooks and other stuff to IKEA SKADIS pegboard without using hooks which require support. Just leave a 3.6 mm hole for the screw to pass through.
This T-nut features modelled threads, so all you need is an M3 machine screw of the appropriate length. Use screws longer than the nut for maximum strength.
I tested weights up to 4kg on a single ASA nut and it didn't break so I can confirm it will carry that much. I use it for holding different organisers, speakers, headphones, AMS lite, filament rolls and everything else that is nice to have on the board. It even held up my computer monitors for a few years.
Make sure to print sideways, lying down!
For heavy use, use PETG or ABS/ASA!
(PLA will creep under constant heavy load)
Steps for how to use are listed in the pictures and the documentation.
Machine screws listed are just for reference, any type of M3 screw will work.
