Description

I needed a more compact attachment method than the T-Clip system. Since I didn’t have any M2 or M2.5 machine screws available I used the more commonly available M3 screws instead.

Secure holders, organisers, bins, hooks and other stuff to IKEA SKADIS pegboard without using hooks which require support. Just leave a 3.6 mm hole for the screw to pass through.

This T-nut features modelled threads, so all you need is an M3 machine screw of the appropriate length. Use screws longer than the nut for maximum strength.

I tested weights up to 4kg on a single ASA nut and it didn't break so I can confirm it will carry that much. I use it for holding different organisers, speakers, headphones, AMS lite, filament rolls and everything else that is nice to have on the board. It even held up my computer monitors for a few years.

Make sure to print sideways, lying down!
For heavy use, use PETG or ABS/ASA!
(PLA will creep under constant heavy load)

Steps for how to use are listed in the pictures and the documentation.

Machine screws listed are just for reference, any type of M3 screw will work.

I give a 4 star cause you spent time to design something that I'm sure is very useful for someone. I didnt give a 5 star because I personally found them to be too cumbersome to use compared to something like the T-Clip. Thanks for the upload! Keep designing!

Thank you for the rating. I designed it because I wanted it to be as simple as possible to model around. All you need to design in the model you want to hang is a 3 mm hole. You can even take models not designed for skadis and place negative volume cylinders to make holes.
