Description

This is a Tensegrity Table structure. The concept is that it is a ridged structure that is made up of strings, or in this case chains, all in tension with each other making it stable. This model is an easy print for any printer and is a great conversation starter for someone who has never seen one before.

Assembly instructions

  • you will need to print 4 Chain Strips and 2 Half Bodies.
  • Use super glue to attach the chain strips inside the square indents of the Half Bodies.
  • Finally take a piece of string and put it through the holes that line up in the center.
  • Tie it tight enough where the structure sits stable (you do not have to tie that tight for it to work).

Once built you are all set!
